Meet our Board of Directors

Haley K. Omeasoo, M.A.

President / Executive Director

Haley Omeasoo is an enrolled member of the Hopi tribe and a descendant of the Blackfeet Tribe. She is a 2nd-year doctoral student in the Forensic and Molecular Anthropology Program at the University of Montana (UM). Haley has been in the forensics field for the past 9 years and received her undergraduate degrees at UM in Forensic Anthropology and Human Biology (Pre-Med), with a Certificate in Forensic Science, followed by a Master’s Degree in Forensic Anthropology also at UM. Her research focuses on assisting tribal agencies in cases pertaining to Indigenous peoples issues, such as NAGPRA cases, repatriation, and the Missing and Murdered Indigenous People (MMIP) epidemic.

Haley’s motivation for such studies stems from real-life cases in and around her community on the Blackfeet Reservation. After graduating with her doctorate, Haley plans to continue her efforts in leading Ohkomi Forensics by providing expertise and knowledge in her aspired field that will assist in resolving cold cases in Indian Country. Haley hopes to be a voice that uplifts others and advocates for MMIW/MMIP still seeking justice.

Vince C. Omeasoo, M.B.A.

Treasurer / Financial Manager

Vince Omeasoo is an enrolled member of the Blackfeet Tribe of Montana and Cree Tribe of Canada. Vince graduated from the University of Montana with a Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management. He has multiple years of experience working in the banking industry and currently works in the commercial department at his current employer. His current goal is to gain more professional experience and utilize his education to help Ohkomi Forensics succeed. His core values are transparency, honesty, innovation, and teamwork. Outside of the office, Vince likes to golf, socialize, and spend time with his family.

Mariah K. Omeasoo, B.S

Secretary/Marketing Manager

Mariah Omeasoo is a passionate and goal-driven Marketer with a keen eye for detail and a creative mindset. With two years of experience in the marketing field, Mariah has contributed to the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives for the Rocky Mountain Women’s Business Center and Native Women Launch. 

Mariah plays a pivotal role in coordinating and executing various marketing campaigns. From conceptualizing ideas to executing them, she thrives in a fast-paced environment. Her responsibilities include content creation, managing various digital marketing channels, organizing events, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging.  

She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration – Marketing from the University of Montana.  

Monti Pavatea Gilham, M.A.

Board Member

Monti Pavatea Gilham is an enrolled member of the Blackfeet Tribe and a descendant of the Hopi Tribe. Monti is the Co-owner of Gilham Insulation, LLC, Founder of CHOICE Nonprofit, and Monti P Gilham Consulting. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Fort Lewis College and a Masters Degree in Native American studies from Montana State University. Monti is a former Dept. Chair/Instructor at Blackfeet Community College in Office Administration for 11 years, as well as an advisor for the American Indian Business Leaders(AIBL). She is a former Program Manager for the Caring for Our Own Program(COOP) at the MSU College of Nursing. Monti is currently consulting as the Project Coordinator with the Blackfeet Tribe on their new Health and Wellness Center. She is a wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoys spending time with family, running, being outdoors, and living a healthy lifestyle.
